1. Who we are
Crown Peak Creative AI, trading as The AI Creator Lab, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. We decide why and how your data is processed. Contact us at support@aidigitallab.crownpeakcreativeai.com.
2. Data we collect
Account data (name, email address, hashed login credentials, authentication provider). Order data (products purchased, order status, download and delivery timestamps — card details are handled by Paddle and never reach us). Membership and program data (tier, subscription status, applications, assignments, feedback). Affiliate and earn data (referral code, clicks, referred sales, commission balances, payout method details you enter). Support and communication data (messages you send us, email delivery status). Technical and usage data (IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referral source, and security or rate-limiting logs).
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
To create and run your account, deliver purchased files and provide memberships — necessary to perform our contract with you. To process orders, receipts and refunds through our Merchant of Record — contract and legal obligation. To run affiliate and earn programs, calculate commissions and make payouts — contract. To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce download entitlements and apply rate limits — our legitimate interest in protecting the business and our customers. To improve products and understand which pages convert — legitimate interest. To send marketing emails about new products and offers — consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link. To keep accounting and tax records — legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Service providers and subprocessors who host our application and database, deliver transactional and marketing email, and provide analytics and error monitoring. Professional advisers such as legal and accounting where needed. Authorities where we are legally required to disclose. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the EEA. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Retention
Account, membership and affiliate data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Order and financial records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (commonly 6-7 years). Security and rate-limiting logs are kept for a short period. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email support@aidigitallab.crownpeakcreativeai.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, hashed credentials, tokenised and revocable download links, rate limiting on download endpoints, and audit logging of administrative actions.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart or checkout state, and store affiliate referral codes so partners are credited correctly. We may also use limited analytics storage to measure page views and conversions. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though essential ones are needed for sign-in and checkout to work.
10. Children
The service is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes
We will publish any update to this notice on this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.
